Iowa Governor Branstad has ordered all flags in the Capitol Complex be flown at half-staff from 8:00am until 5:00pm on Friday, May 18, 2012 in honor of Peace Officer Memorial Week and the Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony which is to be held at 10:00am at the State’s monument near the corner of East Grand Avenue and East 12th Street. All individuals are encouraged to join in this tribute.

Massachusetts Governor Patrick has ordered the United States flag and Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, May 19, 2012 in honor of Lance Corporal Michael J. Ronner of Sudbury.
